Are your blood cleanup technicians certified and trained for this work?

Yes. Code Three Trauma Clean’s certified biohazard and trauma cleanup professionals are trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards, EPA safety guidelines, and relevant PPE protocols. The team also follows OSHA, EPA, and CDC regulatory standards for hazardous materials handling, decontamination, and biohazard disposal.

Is professional cleanup safer than cleaning blood myself?

Professional cleanup is the safer choice when blood or bodily fluids may pose an exposure risk. Avoid touching, wiping, or moving affected materials, and keep others away while you arrange an assessment. The appropriate work depends on the scene and materials involved.

How quickly can you respond to an urgent situation in Affton?

Around-the-clock emergency service is available, and 24/7 emergency response is offered for urgent trauma and biohazard scenes. Actual response timing depends on the circumstances and dispatch needs, so call to discuss current options.

Can you help with insurance paperwork after cleanup?

Yes, assistance with insurance claims and documentation is available when applicable. This may relate to homeowners, business policies, or liability coverage. Ask the team what documentation may be available for your situation.

How much does blood cleanup cost, and what affects the price?

The cost depends on the affected area, materials, contamination conditions, and work required. A price cannot be determined accurately without details about the scene. Contact the team to discuss an assessment and any applicable insurance coordination.

What should I do before the cleanup team arrives?

Keep people away from the affected area and do not attempt to clean or move contaminated items. Share any immediate safety concerns and relevant scene details when you call. The team will explain the next steps based on the situation.
