Are your decomposition cleanup technicians qualified to handle biohazards?

Yes, the cleanup professionals are certified in biohazard and trauma cleanup. They are trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards, EPA safety guidelines, and relevant PPE protocols, and work in line with OSHA, EPA, and CDC regulatory standards for hazardous materials handling, decontamination, and disposal.

Is it safe to enter the affected room before cleanup?

It is safest to keep people and pets away until the affected area has been assessed. Avoid touching fluids, moving belongings, or using household cleaners, since these actions may spread contamination or expose you to hazards.

What should I do before the cleanup team arrives?

Keep others out of the affected space and share any known safety or access concerns when you call. Do not move affected items; the team can explain what information is useful and discuss the assessment and next steps.

Can you help with insurance paperwork, and what affects the cost?

Code Three Trauma Clean can assist with insurance claims and documentation when applicable. The cost depends on the affected area, materials, contamination, and access, while coverage is determined by your insurer; ask about the assessment and documentation options when you contact the team.
