Are your feces cleanup technicians trained and qualified?

Yes. Code Three Trauma Clean’s certified biohazard and trauma cleanup professionals are trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards, EPA safety guidelines, and relevant PPE protocols. Cleanup follows OSHA, EPA, and CDC regulatory standards for hazardous materials handling, decontamination, and biohazard disposal.

Is professional cleanup safer than trying to clean fecal contamination myself?

Professional assessment can reduce the chance of spreading contamination or overlooking affected materials. Avoid dry sweeping, vacuuming, or moving contaminated items through clean areas, and keep people and pets away until the scene is assessed.

What mistakes should I avoid before the cleanup team arrives?

Do not dry sweep, vacuum, mix cleaning chemicals, or carry affected items through the property. Keep others away from the area, and tell the technician if you have already used cleaning products or attempted removal.

Can you help with insurance paperwork and privacy concerns?

Assistance with insurance claims and documentation may be available for homeowners, business policies, and liability coverage when applicable. The team handles sensitive circumstances confidentially and with respect; ask about documentation needs when you contact them.
