Are your hazmat cleanup professionals trained and qualified?

Yes. Code Three Trauma Clean's certified biohazard and trauma cleanup professionals are trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards, EPA safety guidelines, and relevant PPE protocols. The company follows OSHA, EPA, and CDC regulatory standards for hazardous materials handling, decontamination, and biohazard disposal.

Is it safer to clean an unknown substance myself or wait for a professional?

Do not handle or disturb an unknown substance while you seek guidance. Sweeping, vacuuming, or applying household cleaners may spread material or complicate its handling. Keep people away from the affected area and describe what you observed when you call.

What should I do before the cleanup team arrives?

Keep people away from the affected area and avoid moving or cleaning the material. When you contact the team, share the property address, what you know about the substance, and any access concerns. For urgent trauma or biohazard scenes, emergency response is available 24/7.

Can you help with insurance documentation, and how is the cost determined?

Assistance with insurance claims and documentation may be available for homeowners, business policies, and liability coverage when applicable. Cost depends on the material, affected area, and work identified during assessment. Ask for a scope explanation and available documentation details before proceeding.

Will the cleanup be handled discreetly?

Yes. Cleanup is conducted confidentially and with respect for affected individuals and properties. The team aims to minimize disruption while handling sensitive circumstances with compassion.
