Are your hoarding cleanup technicians trained to handle hazardous materials safely?

Yes, Code Three Trauma Clean’s certified biohazard and trauma cleanup professionals are trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards, EPA safety guidelines, and relevant PPE protocols. Hazardous materials handling, decontamination, and biohazard disposal follow applicable OSHA, EPA, and CDC standards.

Is it safer to arrange professional cleanup than to handle everything ourselves?

Professional help is worth discussing if the property may contain bodily fluids, suspected contamination, or other hazardous materials. Avoid disturbing suspected hazards and describe them when contacting the team so appropriate precautions can be discussed.

What should I do before the team arrives?

Share known safety concerns, access limitations, and the areas you want addressed when you contact the team. Do not move suspected hazardous materials, and discuss sorting or item-handling preferences before cleanup begins.

Can the team help with insurance paperwork, and what happens after cleanup?

Code Three Trauma Clean can assist with insurance claims and documentation for homeowners, business policies, and liability coverage when applicable. After the work, ask about available records and any follow-up concerns; coverage and next steps depend on your situation and insurer.
