How soon can a hoarding cleanup team respond in St. Charles County?

Timing depends on the request, current availability, and the property conditions. Around-the-clock service, including nights and weekends, is available for emergency cleanup situations, while 24/7 emergency response is specified for urgent trauma and biohazard scenes. Contact the team to confirm timing for your circumstances.

Is it safe to move items before the property is assessed?

Avoid disturbing material that may be contaminated or otherwise hazardous until it has been assessed. Blocked access or hidden substances can create risks, and the appropriate precautions depend on what is present. Describe the concern when you call so the team can discuss a safe next step.

What should I have ready before contacting the cleanup team?

A brief description of the property, affected areas, access concerns, and any known hazards is a helpful start. You do not need to sort or document every item before calling. The team can explain what additional information would help determine whether an assessment is appropriate.

Can you help coordinate insurance documentation for a hoarding cleanup?

Code Three Trauma Clean can assist with insurance claims and documentation when applicable. Whether a policy covers the work depends on its terms and the insurer's decision. Ask what documentation may be available for your situation.

Will the cleanup be handled privately and respectfully?

Yes. Cleanup is conducted with discretion and respect for affected individuals and properties, with confidential handling and efforts to minimize disruption. You can share specific privacy concerns before work begins.
