Which areas and materials can infectious disease cleanup address?

The work can address affected areas and materials identified during a site assessment. The appropriate scope depends on the reported exposure, surfaces, and conditions, so describe the situation to the team before deciding what needs attention.

Is professional cleanup safer than handling a suspected exposure myself?

Professional assessment and handling can reduce the risk of disturbing potentially contaminated materials. Code Three Trauma Clean's certified professionals are trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards, EPA safety guidelines, and relevant PPE protocols; contact the team for guidance specific to your site.

What should I do before the cleanup team arrives?

Avoid disturbing suspected contaminated materials and share the exposure details, property address, and urgency when you call. The team can discuss access and the next steps based on the circumstances.

Can you help with insurance paperwork, and how long will cleanup take?

Insurance documentation assistance may be available when applicable, while coverage depends on your policy and insurer. Cleanup duration depends on the affected area, materials, and work required, so the team can discuss timing after learning about the site.

Will the visit be handled discreetly?

Yes. Teams operate confidentially, minimize disruption, and treat affected people and properties with respect. Share any privacy or access concerns when you arrange the service.
